SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The start of the commercial Dungeness crab season in California has been delayed for the sixth year in a row to protect humpback whales from becoming entangled in trap and buoy lines.The state Department of Fish and Wildlife said commercial crabbing will be delayed until at least Dec. 1. The situation will be reassessed on or before Nov. 17.It’s the latest delay for the start of the commercial season, which traditionally begins in mid-November for waters between the Mendocino county line and the border with Mexico.“Large aggregations of humpback whales continue to forage between Bodega Bay and Monterey and allowing the use of crab traps would increase the risk of an entanglement in those fishing zones,” said Fish and Wildlife Director Charlton H. A few minutes before the scheduled kickoff time, a message on the giant screen at Stade Velodrome said: “Dear supporters, the game will not be played tonight.”The Lyon team bus was hit on the way to the stadium, shattering some windows. NEW SCOTLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man has been arrested after reportedly violating an order of protection, according to police. Shawn Grady, 41, is facing multiple charges. On October 28 at 3:16 p.m., deputies of the Albany County Sheriff's Office responded to an emergency call for a disturbance at a home in New Scotland. Upon arrival, officers located a man outside the residence, who police identified as Grady. The investigation by police revealed there was an order of protection in place mandating that Grady stay away from the home. Police stated that Grady was also found to be in possession of a shotgun and had been convicted of a previous felony.
