One Pronounced Dead after Multi-Vehicle Collision near LucasRANCHO MISSION VIEJO, CA (July 31, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, one victim was pronounced dead after a fiery car accident on Highway 74.Authorities responded to the scene shortly before 2:15 a.m., a westbound highway, just west of Lucas on July 1st.For reasons under investigation, two vehicles were involved in the collision. Reports indicate that one of the vehicles lost control and struck an electric post before becoming engulfed in flames.Responding medics pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Although, police have not yet released their identity.Meanwhile, paramedics took a second victim to a nearby trauma center for further treatment.At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still currently underway. (KRON) -- A man and his family dog died in a duplex fire in San Pablo on Friday, and his family is raising funds to help with his burial services. Nima Momeni due back in SF court with new attorney Armando Cabrera lived with his dog, Seymour, and his siblings in a duplex on Dover Avenue when a fire sparked in the residence. (KTXL) -- A semi-truck carrying 40,000 pounds of chocolate went up in flames on Monday morning in Placer County, according to CAL FIRE Nevada-Yuba-Placer. At around 4:30 a.m., crews responded to the area of Interstate 80 and Highway 174 near Colfax for reports of a commercial vehicle fire. Short staffing causes closure of Valley Springs fire station When crews arrived on scene they found a fully involved fire in the trailer of the semi-truck and were able to keep the flames from spreading into the surrounding forestland.
